Job Summary
The Kentucky Department for Public Health (KDPH) Career Epidemiology Professional Officer is responsible for working across, connecting, fostering collaboration and facilitating joint public health program advances between the KDPH Division of Epidemiology and Health Planning, the Rural Health Transformation Workgroup, the Public Health Workforce Readiness Branch, the Public Health Preparedness Program, Kentucky institutions of higher education and other Department for Public Health Divisions and programs as needed. This position provides vision, support, specific programmatic leadership, and working knowledge of DPH program activities and capabilities to advance collaborative initiatives and combine various programs and strengths to advance public health programs and improve health outcomes across Kentucky.
Please note this position is located in Frankfort, KY.
