JaJanus Henderson has announced that it is making two of private credit manager Victory Park Capital’s specialist private credit strategies – the Asset‑Backed Opportunistic Credit Strategy and the Legal Credit Strategy – available to investors across EMEA.
It comes after Janus Henderson acquired Victory Park in October 2024.
The Asset‑Backed Opportunistic Credit strategy gives investors access to a diversified portfolio of senior secured, asset‑backed loans supported by short‑duration collateral across sectors such as receivables based finance, hard assets, and intellectual assets.

Meanwhile the Legal Credit strategy, a subsector of VPC’s asset-backed finance strategy, gives investors access to a differentiated, senior secured, asset‑backed lending portfolio focused on the legal industry.
Financing is secured through highly structured, recourse loans backed by diversified pools of legal receivables, and supported by insurance features and robust credit enhancements.
“Asset‑backed finance is a differentiated segment within private credit, offering structural protections and shorter duration at a time when investors are navigating elevated volatility and higher‑for‑longer rates”, said Brendan Carroll, co-founder and senior partner at Victory Park Capital.

“VPC has spent nearly twenty years building deep expertise across these areas, and we look forward to extending this capability to investors across EMEA.”
