Summary
Arapahoe Community College is seeking a Career Forward Navigator to serve as the primary point of contact
for learners participating in Career Forward programs. This role provides end-to-end learner support across outreach, recruitment,
onboarding, enrollment, case management, retention, and career placement.
The Navigator builds strong relationships with learners
while coordinating closely with internal college departments, employers, workforce centers, and community partners to deliver comprehensive
wrap-around services. This position maintains in-depth knowledge of ACC academic, career, and technical education programs and supports
learners from initial inquiry through program completion and post-completion transition.
This position will be responsible for ACC’s
COSI Achieve Scholarship Program along with the Career Forward Program Manager. Working collaboratively with the Career Forward Program
Manager, the Navigator helps manage learner records, case notes, data tracking, and reporting to ensure learner success, program
effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead learner outreach, recruitment, and
onboarding efforts, including information sessions, orientations, advising, and enrollment support - Provide ongoing case management,
coaching, and retention support, including academic progress monitoring, career planning, and job readiness assistance - Serve as a
liaison between learners and internal departments, employers, workforce centers, and community partners to connect learners with resources
and opportunities - Maintain accurate learner records, case notes, and data related to enrollment, completion, credentials, funding,
and post-program outcomes - Support program assessment and reporting by tracking outcomes, compiling reports, and contributing to
continuous improvement efforts
This is a grant-funded position through 06/30/2030. Continuation of the position is
contingent upon continued funding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
combination of education and/or relevant experience. An equivalency will not count towards the experience requirement below. - Experience providing case management, academic, career, or student support services.
- Experience working across functional
areas in a complex organization. - Strong collaboration, problem-solving, interpersonal, oral and written communication, and critical
thinking skills required.
Preferred:
- Experience utilizing student information databases such as Banner and
EAB Navigate or a similar platform. - Experience working with scholarship disbursement, management, and verifying student eligibility
within state compliances.. - Experience building student services and resources for a college campus from the ground up.
- Experience advising students and managing multiple student caseloads.
- Experience developing retention efforts targeting
students who are on academic probation, suspension, or a similar standing.
